It's all down to accountancy problems. They need a proper double-entry system. A good head at the top and perhaps diversification into an alternative music publication, such as a jazz mag.

I see stiff opposition to raising such huge amounts of hard currency in this downturn. Hopefully they'll swallow it without too much moaning and groaning.
