    Not sure they will go for travel time.

    I'll be looking at about £100 a week petrol bill so if they accepted 25p a mile this makes £162.50 a week.

    But 70 miles will cost you about £20

    bargening tools

    Just been offered a potential 3 month gig about 70 miles away from base at an average sort of rate (Agent spouting the economic climate at the moment)

    Its going to mean a lot of driving and I am going back to agent and saying I'll accept in principle if they accept mileage at 40p a mile to try to offset the lowish rate.

    Any other ideas for bargening with?
