I don't want to jump on the bandwagon, but...where's the AndyW option? Where's the static option? Where's the they fired some, realised they didn't have enough resources to complete the project, so hired some option?

Both at the same time. Firing onthe maintenance side, hiring on the dev side. Next year of course they'll have so much new stuff in production it'll be the other way around.

I'm not allowed to vote yet as I'm still on probation (being new and all, although it's only this logon that's new!), but my clientco is firing big time.
At the beginning of the year, the whole client IS department numbered well over 900. We are currently just below 700 now, and the insiders say that the target by the end of the fiscal year (31/3/09) is 400.....
