I would like to congratulate Bob on his most sensible suggestion yet.

The usual four minutes for me.

It's only 800 metres but i still take the 4x4 - just in case.

No road kill today though - think it must have been too cold.

Ahh you poor northerners, why not move to sunnier climes? It's above freezing in Somerset... my neighbour has a palm tree in his front garden.

Took me an hour extra... I decided to have a nice hot bath before walking to my study.

No problems...except I forgot the office keys so had to turn around..It was tricky going up the hill. Especially as some twat had left his car on the bend. luckily the neighbour's car left a bare patch on the road or I'd never made it to the driveway. For once I thanked the people that park on the road.

It was good fun watching the B&Q delivery try and go up the hill..It was like a yoyo. The son enjoyed it a lot.

I just hope it warms up and stops snowing othewise there maybe little chance of me getting the car up the hill in the evening.

    Bleh.
Is it me or is jobserve is getting more and more sluggish these days?

If so, the obvious explanation is there are more and more people looking for work ...

while I was waiting for the car to thaw, built the missus a snowman in the drive with little twig arms, and looked at the little moggie footprints in the back garden.

2.5 hours, leaving at 6.30am via M62, M60, M56. Always a pain in the ass journey, but happy to do it 'cos the rate is good.
Shame the gig finishes this week due to the Market downturn tho'.

Walked my daughter to school - which took tens mins longer than usual due to the vast array of snowballs she insisted on chucking at me!
She was out in the garden at 7.20 building a snow guinea pig. I guess at least I have time to enjoy it all seeing as I'm bench bound.
Don't envy anyone driving in it today, my car is utter crap in the snow. It has rear wheel drive - I think that has something to do with it?

And 30 seconds for me too since I work from home. No sign of snow in this part of Scotland or even icy roads.
