My mortagage payment should drop by about £60. More money in my pocket...a bit extra to spend? Nope. The wife makes sure we're in permanent poverty. I got my credit crunch five years ago.

I transferred some cash from euro land back to the UK last night, the exchange rate has shot the other way. Bet it chooses the crap one today rather than the ok one last night!

OK it will only make me £120 a month better off, but good news is good news
I know it sounds mad, but some have a lower limit (like 1% above BoE) and some say they can move you to an alternative product if they wish to stop the one you are on.
