    Very true....and I am pretty sure it is my pustulating skin desease that puts them off.

    One the one hand, seeing someone gives you an immediate bias - it has been proved in interviews that often the impression you give in the first 30s has a huge impact, say based on your accent or if you have a big spot on your nose etc.

    On the other hand, I think being able to present yourself well and communicate clearly is quite important.
