What model? Where do you park? Is it small enough to park it up on the street?

Lots of websites. www.boatshop24.co.uk, boatshed.com...autotrader do boats...

I bought one, not as a live aboard but I could do.

It is 32 foot, sleeps 6, has a fridge, cooker, electricity, toilet etc...for under 20K...

Yeah, a people carrier is probably my favourite option. A transit would do the job and there is no doubt a cheap second-hand market for them, but there are some nice practical looking people carriers / autosleepers out there too, but which may be expensive to buy and run.

Less than that. If it doesn't need to be shiny and something you'd actually want to take onto the high seas, you can get a 30ft yacht for £20k or less in reasonable nick.

A small motorhome sounds best though. You could even ask a friend to use their land/facilities and slip them a bit of cash.

How about a Volkswagen camper parked down Bishops Avenue, Hampstead.

There are no yellow lines and you too can live on Millionaires Row
