    It was one of the first games I ever played on a computer - to be precise, it was written in DEC BASIC, loaded from paper tape and running on a PDP-8/e, with an ASR-33 Teletype (text only, obviously) as the user interface

    After a while my folks bit the bullet and bought me an Atari console and then a ZX81 and finally a C64
