    A problem I see with this nationalization poo is that the punter in the street, who isn't a financials guru, will be left wondering who owns what, and who is resonsible for what should more things go wrong. Am I right in saying that the B&B has been split into 2 parts: Santander snaffled the "good" part, and HM Gov. bailed-out the browner & smellier end of the stick?

    You see what they've done there?
    UK gov takes all the non-performing debt, Spain takes all the fixed deposits and assets.
    I'm no economist but......
