    I've still got my old driving license book. the one that looks like a mini passport
    I had to change it for one of the green paper ones when it became invalid in the eighties

    ahh i miss my paper licence, it was also held together by 6 pieces of tape although i finally had to swap it for a new one as it had my address from 6 yrs ago on it and I couldnt make an insurance claim without the correctly addressed licence

    I've had a L one for five years now. I think...I lost it some time ago..

    Geez...don't they send you a letter and call you down to the DVLA local office to have a new photo taken and hand you a tempor....oh wait this is the UK. hardly can expect that level of service...shoot y'all still have cobbled streets!
