Went to see a giant spider in Livepool. Not really sure what a French show had to do with Liverpool being a European City of Culture - apart from generating money.

Would have been more impressed if the spider walked on its own legs rather than being attached to a vehicle.

Took my son to town centre and whilst we had lunch the local evangelicals were telling everyone off for not believing in Jesus. My son loved the library and he actually now listens to me when we're walking around.

Sunday, had a lie in, watch F1 bore...well until the last two laps. Then read up on mySQL as nothing else to do. Couldn't mow the lawn as it is now a large sponge...made a pizza from scratch.

Saturday: Had a couple of test drives on Saturday and Iùm now close to breaking my 'never again' rule for new cars. Nerded it up with some hardcore car pr0n on Sat evening.

Sunday: Taught minirantor to ride his bike 'zonder steunwieltjes' - felt like a real dad and rather chuffed

Bombay Bad Boy. Food for real men (or idiots, depending on your outlook). Anyone who can eat a whole King Size Bombay clearly has no insides left. But does have my respect.

Spent the weekend having it large in Madrid. Officially one of the best weekends I've ever had and made me realise why I hate going out drinking in the UK.
