The sad thing is, that to perform User Acceptance Testing you need User's. You sit then down and give them a intro on the system and let them try it and observe what they do. You then note down what they do, what areas they have problems with and ask them for feedback on what they like, what they hate and what they think could be done better.
According to that spec the tester who is employed will be doing all that testing, that's verification, not UAT!!!!
Sounds like both the agent and the client are muppets, not a job I would go near....
