There are some flats that have been done up like that in Collyhurst in Manchester. They look bloody awfull - only slightly better than the council flats they used to be. Yes, there's a nice riverside townhouse near us - all modern and wood faced. Downstairs still looks ok where they've been able to use preservative without getting the scaffolding out.
