The British-made Lightning supercar uses much more interesting electric motors and more advanced batteries than the Tesla.

It is more expensive and not as nice to look at, compared to the Tesla, but the technology will trickle down. Volvo may be releasing hybrids that use the same wheel-motors.
Er - maybe, but we'll need petrochemicals in the production process and we'll need to beg the Russians for the gas to fuel all the extra power stations. All that aside, it's a magical plan.
Yes of course, but we won't need them in quite the same quantities as we do when we're all burning gallons of the stuff every day.
I meant the concept of a performance electric car. Sooner these roll off the production line at all levels of affordability, the sooner we can tell Opec where to swivel.
