ha ha yes, 2 terrible mistakes - I usually rush when I'm on a bb or texting.

I am genuine though - I used to post here about 10 years back, and still recognise a lot of the posters here. No sign of MarillionFan though?

I haven't been on the jobhunt for 5 years, so just checking out how things have changed.

    Thanks all

Denno isn't too bad, I always thought you would resurrect as Dunny for some strange reason.

Denno, apologies if you are genuine

Hi - I'm on the hunt for work right now, and was wandering :

    1. Whether Jobserve is still king for job postings
    2. How good LinkedIn is for getting work
    3. How good iProfile is for getting work
    4. Whether it's better to ring an agent directly, or email, or Apply via Jobserve feature

    Any thoughts anyone?

    Thanks
    0. Check your CV for moronic spelling mistakes like the two above.

Personal contacts. That could also mean agents. If you are 'wandering' what is the 'based' way.

Personally i've had approaches through linkedin. Also have had agents find my CV, look me up in Linkedin and if we have a contact in common they have asked the contact to recommend/trash me. So seems pretty useful.
