When I was with IBM one of the account DPEs had the temerity to resign to take up a job with HP, he was out of the building and on gardening leave within 5 minutes
On my current gig I am now the longest serving contractor on the project ( or will be once the latest departure happens in a couple of weeks. )
In the 9 months i've been here so far one quit to go permie elsewhere, one quit for a better gig, one quit for "personal reasons" and one was escorted from the premesis.
