    There's a group of guys who take their RIBs from the IoM to Largs occasionally. Sometimes over to Ireland. You wouldn't want to do that on a scooter.

    If you've got the car to tow the RIB, get a RIB.

    Little scooters are fine in flat calm but going any distance in anything choppy is knackering (not to mention dangerous for your wedding tackle).

    Plus, with a RIB you can hire it out to dive clubs for profit.
