OK, its a 2.8m kite. I am flying a 3.
Mule. I dont find it that dangerous. I went for buggies as I can always walk back if I lose the wind. I am a novice so struggle getting "up wind". You dont want to be stuck on an outgoing tide in Morecambe bay with no way of getting back.
I did the first level of the kite-surfing course a few years ago but wasn't that impressed (or that good). I'll stick to dinghys & yachts...

That is what I am going to do - as I work on plan B. Which leads to world domination.

I shall be spending most of the weekend dodging phone calls from my mate pretending that i don't care that he's at the Le Mans 24 hour race whilst i can't go
But i'll probably be watching it on Eurosport!

No watching Le Mans on TV?Originally posted by threaded View PostI shall be competing in the Nordic24.
It's a 24 hour mountain bike race, and the point is to get as many laps in in 24 hours as possible. I shall be doing it solo this year. Looks like there'll be a good deal of mud, as the forecast is for rain, but I doubt it will be quite as bad as last year.
I'm already charging battery sets for the night time laps.
That is what I am going to do - as I work on plan B. Which leads to world domination.

That strikes me as a very dangerous hobby. Did you try kite-surfing first or was it buggies all the way?Originally posted by The Lone Gunman View Post

Being dragged to see the Lancashire Hotpots on Friday as part of the little guys birthday present. Don't know what the rest of the weekend holds, but I'm guessing that it can't get worse!
