Your names not Hamish Patel is it?Originally posted by Pinto View PostI found the contract that I'm at by contacting a friend who happened to be working for a client who needed someone like me. As I couldn't work direct, I phoned my agent and told him that I had found a nice contract, got myself an interview which was successful, and could he please be my agent.
That was 12 years ago, and I'm still here. How's that for easy pickings?

Yes, I'm a bog standard "within IR35" case. That's why, as I've said before, I've been paying it since it started in 2000. Obviously, I was much better off during the first 4 years of this contract, but I'm still doing ok.Originally posted by oracleslave View PostI read that and immediately cringe at the potential size of an IR35 employment tax bill.

My god there are some old people on hereOriginally posted by TimberWolf View PostI'd like (you) to teach the twins to sing
In perfect harmony
And hear them echo through the walls
That's the song that I'd like to hear
For peace throughout the pool
A song of men who dress in womens clothing, just like my dear papa!
