I'm surprised how young he is, early forties or something. Perhaps even 39 when I first saw him interviewed on Jonathan Woss. Looks in his late forties or early fifties. Maybe he should eat more healthily or get someone to cook for him?Originally posted by xoggoth View PostSo should that horrible creased-face sweary bloke.

Supply and demand is a pretty decent system. As has been said, if energy prices keep rising then foreign and greenhouse foods will rise in price anyway and restrict demand. The government should keep its damn beak out of things. So should that horrible creased-face sweary bloke.

I don't know what you're getting so upset about it's not like a celebrity chef is ever going to have an influence on government policy.....unless of course he gets the fat tonged Mokney ****** involved, send for Jamie Oliver, we have a mission for him!

How does what he says make sense?Originally posted by threaded View PostI contradicted myself? Where? And 'again'? Where?
Are you some kind of idiot?
Which cheap energy are you thinking of?
If it will 'slow down on its own' because of the oil price, why do we need to fine people?
BTW it is impossible to ban any import from an EU member state - refer Maastricht treaty - and earlier.
Try not to name call.

You've just contradicted yourself, again. If it 'will slow down on it's own' why should there be fines and why does he say 'make sense'???

i think it is a good idea
Restaurants will need to vary menus more - hopefully meaning you can go to the same restaurant every month and be offered a different menu
in addition to this it will support local producers and support the local economy
but in reality it aint gonna happen no matter how much GR f's n jeff's about it.
