I find openoffice a bit clunky and slow (because it doesn't use all those unpublished api calls in windows), but I've never had any formatting or conversion issues.

I just think it is a good product though it can be a little slow to load up!
Not sure I would want to be doing my CV using it though. As all the agents will be using MS Office and the formatting could go a little skee-wiff!

I had it for a while, but their version of excel doesn't seem to handle macros too well, I had to go back to MS Office
