Should be interesting how he gets on. All of his decriers have clearly never read his books; he's a shrewd political operator. It seems just because he's got a sense of humour he's lambasted as a buffoon. Good luck to him; hopefully he will deliver better value for money for London.

Whether his parents were well to do or poor as church mice is immaterial. He earned his own place at Eton.

Very funny!
But Boris is anything but dumb, he's probably smarter than all of us. He received the King's Scholarship to Eton and went on to read classics at Oxford.

Uh-oh! Mayoral election result delayed until midnight.
I wonder if Ken has been on the blower to uncle Bob Mugabe looking for tactics.

I wonder if the rick rolling is the cause or effect of his record label deciding to re-publicise his greatest hits album. I could spend all weekend thinking that one over, but I won't.

1600 With 40% of votes counted in London Boris Johnson is ahead on first preference votes in 9 out of the 14 London assembly regions. There is no indication yet of where people's second preferences are going. They of course are likely to prove crucial if Johnson fails to get more than 50% of first preferences.
