Guys
Look, maybe I am being paranoid but basically I think the banks are capitalising on this chaos to move their operations to low cost centres.
Without the benefit of masses amount of research, they appear to cutting jobs in high cost centres and its the prefect opportunity for them to do so, they dont even need to justify it.
I am pretty sure after the dust has settled, very silently subsiduaries will open up in Mumbai,Manila etc and all work that was happening London will start happening there.

Mrs Gonzo works for Citi, she hates them and it would make her year if she was made redundant.
So it wont happen
Not so sure. 9,000 extra job cuts announced yesterday.

....9000 job losses, and they were saying it would be a "bloodbath", this sounds more like Armageddon with knobs on. Interestingly everybody is calm, sort of, "ah well it won´t be me".
Mind you that was what that interesting Doom monger was saying on CNN, that it wouldn´t be sudden, a bit like slowly boiling up a frog in a pot of a water.

They've lost 2 giants! surely they should be pretty easy to find.
To lose one giant may be regarded as a misfortune, to lose both etc. etc.

Yeah, so doomed that their price put on about 6% this morning.
However, they are still 50% down from their 52 week high
