    I don't think they all got cardboard boxes, just the ones who grabbed the boxes the mattresses came in. Still, living in a cardboard box at an airport is cheap and you get to meet lots of people, etc. A paper bag is nowhere near as luxurious as a cardboard box though IMO.

    Ahhh, also stops flies (and other things ) from getting into your mouth.

    Never seen people resort to that when their flight's been delayed by several days though. Must be for first class passengers, the rest get a paper bag, or if you're being a right pain in the ass, a plastic bag.

    That's the obvious way to sleep in those circs - It blocks out the light, and some of the sound. It also hides the face, which can look less than flattering if your mouth is lolling open or whatever.

    Whatever happens this year I'll be making sure any flights I book aren't with BA. He's a right narky sod if the sedation wares off mid-flight.
