The rights of those who are prepared to die or kill for them are clearly more important. Because such people really care about their rights, and the others don't. At least, not enough to die for them.

I would imagine the BNP face a similar quandary.

Excellent! Let the minorities slog it out so that mainstream people can just get on with life.

Probably a misnomer actually. It should be 'non-extremist and/or non-muslim'...

    Hope that clears it up.

You can be damn sure that if the (moderate) christian white objected, the article would be about homophobic attitudes and the books would have most certainly stayed in the schools...

Saw a news programme the other week where gay muslims were having to hide their identity from families and find similar people of the opposite sex (via a specialist website) to arrange sham marriages with, so they could appear 'normal'.

Sad state of affairs. If it was me I'd probably tell the family to get ****** if they're more interested in 'honour' and saving face than the well-being of their own children.

Hopefully this type of archaic religious brainwashing is only doing itself more damage in the long run, as people with any intelligence will see it for what it is, and the process of 'waking up' from religion will progress at a faster rate.

If there's going to be another war in Europe in our lifetime, you can be sure it will be a religion based one, as those outside Europe try to force their religion on us.

No, lesbianism is also punishable by death (sometimes by stoning). Savages.

There were a couple of weeks ago - a friend of mine lectures at London Uni and was asked to give some lectures in Tehran. She took her girlfriend with her.

Their visa photos were quite funny as they had to wear head scarves.

Perhaps it's only gay men that aren't allowed?
