Insourcing
Insourcing is not new - from the very first outsource (whenever that was) insourcing followed right behind it. I worked on a major insource last year - major driver was cost. However the staff affected were fed bull about how company had evolved and new opportunities and new processes were in place blah blah. What was missing from the glitzy presentations was that 10% of the insourced staff were to be made redundant in the first year and another 15% the next.

Outsourcing don't work
Outsourcing don't work
Roughly translated:
In Germany, outsourcing is en expensive load of bollox.
Problems include:
1) Outsourcing managers are arrogant w*nkers.
2) They charge more than states in the contract.
3) They **** the systems up, so that they don't work properly.
A new trend is developing called "Insourcing".Last edited by BlasterBates; 18 July 2005, 07:57.Tags: None
