When I had an Elise (car not bird) about 9 years ago, I used to wear earplugs on the motorways so I could hear the radio!

I find it strange that you got to pubs/clubs to meet people and can't hear a damn word they say because of all the racket. Even Wetherspoons and their no music policy is still noisy when there's a couple hundred people gabbering on.

Was shooting last weekend, and the bloke was clear as a bell.

In a field (presumably) without loud music and a crowd where everyone else is also shouting perhaps.

The recommendation is for the young whippersnappers to wear ear plugs - how are they supposed to order a drink or chat each other up?

Does anyone else find it funny that this sort of noise is banned in factories but compulsory in pubs?
