    Good point but what's the cost of living there?
    Seriously - I have a few mates in Africa and their salaries converted straight to £ are ridiculously low - but the cost of living is too, so it roughly equates.

    It was built by Chinese workers who are paid 15 pence an hour (and no, that's not a joke)

    One of the major factors with T5 though was the environment. They actually manufactured a lot of the materials on site rather than transport them etc...

    I did a tour there while working for BAA and it was very impressive.....
