They still generate heat! What they make of their 'existence' is up to them. We're free to dream what we like after all. That is until the thought police start using these contraptions against us.

There's some dangerous snappers out there. You just have to watch "The Deep" to know that, which whilst not being a patch on Jaws (by the same author), it redeemed itself with the casting of Jacqueline Bisset.

For that reason I prefer to do all my diving on dry land.

There's going to be some very confused kids thinking they've just taken a frog home, and wondering where the cat's disappeared to.

I await to see if some 'celebrity' takes one in and promptly starts this years craze for the latest pet. Small dogs scatting in their hand bag must have got on their nerves by now, they'll be looking for the next big thing.

Maybe we should organise a New Labour team building river race in one of the affected rivers to find out.

    I like the quote

An Environment Agency source said last night: “The reaction was, ‘Oh s***’. This is the ultimate invasive species — if it starts breeding here it’s a disaster.”

So is that the official word from the environment agency. What next the DWP calling the unemployed a bunch of workshy scrounging feckers or the police describing thieves as pikey chavs
