She was even lying in a pool of blood, so how could he not realise that she at least needed to get medical attention?

This guy is real sick and should be locked away - preferebly for life in an asylum.

I read he claimed not to know that she was dead/dying, in which case he's basically admitting rape, which is going to be a pretty big sentence anyway.

Well I think you did it. The onus is on you to prove you didnt do it. The Poilice are too busy running speed cameras and sitting in the canteen to check out what really happened

Waste not want not, me old pop useta say.

Seriously, the real problem is not so much the perversity of bonking a corpse, after all if she really was dead, what difference would it have made? but the casual attitude to someone else's welfare. If he really discovered somebody in that state then every second to get help was vital.

Even if he was not guilty of the actual attack a sane law should treat it as murder anyway. As for the drink and drugs, the time has long passed when either should be a defence against anything. There is a time when everyone is undrugged and sober and it should be considered that they take full responsibility if they voluntarily choose to enter any other state.

I have no experience of drugs beyond a bit of weed in yoof but as far as alcohol is concerned the claim that one is not responsible, even at the time, is bollox anyway. One never looses a sense of responsibility if one ever had it in the first place.

If guilty I hope to ***k he doesn't get a reduced sentence cause of some diminished responsibility loophole crap.
