    No NO No, The correct approach to take is try to sell them something. Ignore everything they say and go into hard sell mode and try to get some contact info out of them so you can invoice them for your services.

    Much more fun, they usually don't know what to do.

    Yeah, have had these a few times. Whenever an over-confident American speaks to me when I answer the phone my first words are always "You're trying to sell me stocks aren't you?" They usually deny it for a while but as soon as they admit they are I shout "**** off" at them as loudly as possible and then hang up.

    One told me quite firmly that he was not selling stocks, "But I do have a great tip for you Mr Ferret". I replied, "And I have one for you. **** off and don't call me again you utter ****."

    I am sure he had heard it before but it made me laugh. Anyway, you would have to be mental to invest in anything from an unsolicited phone call. A fool and his money are soon parted.
