Hah! Missed this last time. Trust me mate its very platonic. I like everyone to be cool though. A bit of meditation and self reflection would not go amiss.Originally posted by BrilloPad View Post

hmmm - I thought Sasguru did too. but he started this thread!
its nice he cares so much - I just hope it is only platonic.

Well, I finished studying, moved back to Scotland, found myself short of rent money so went busking. Made a mint doing that (seriously), got asked to join a band, was kinda good so asked to join a better band, tours, recording, TV, all that carp. All through this time was messing with computers and when the music stuff got tough I bullcrapped my way into a developer role, never looked back after that.Originally posted by sasguru View PostCliphead its a strange move from music to IT. PS I tried to learn the guitar once but I fear I didn't have the ability.

Dig through yer record collection, fair bet I'm in there somewhere playing guitar or mandolin but I'm not going to say where. Playing an instrument is therapeutic and really can turn into a Plan B. I was playing pro before the IT stuff and I'll be going back full time this year with no regrets. Not for the money you understand, just the babes.
