    Sue, not sure if that plan actually works for a woman, see I usually have one or two hand bag (one for my purse and essential) the other may be to keep stuff like a spare shoes or laptop etc… so even if I brought a spare jacket and left it on my chair, people can tell am leaving cuz I am taking me handbags with me…

    However may be I can bring a third handbag with me and leave it at my desk …hmmm

    I used to work with a bloke who would just leave a jacket over his chair so it would look like he was around, but not at his desk.

    To be fair to him, he was a permie who had resigned but was being held to his three month notice period.
