Had to be done mate. I really wasn't in the mood for the other box but in true heroic fashion I took care of that too later in the evening.

I was wondering which box you'd open first. A true techie.

Just been playing around with my new 704... Not a bad piece of kit, especially for £165. WIFI was up and running within minutes and the unit just USBs into the PC to transfer music/vids. Nice.

Surely it'll only take a second or two to open the box? After all this time you'd think things would have progressed to plug in and go.Originally posted by TazMaN View PostGreat, we can swap hints & tips later!
Thing is, mine is waiting at home to be unwrapped and I can't wait to get playing with it - but the wife wants some s3x tonight and so that'll take up the whole evening!

Argos just emailed me saying they now have stock for home delivery. The website still says out of stock but if you go and put your order in it lets you buy for delivery.

On Sunday morning they had stock for delivery but by the arvo, when I went to order, it was out of stock. I think word got around very quick on some forums and people just snapped it up.Originally posted by ladymuck View PostIs it only available in store, or can it be ordered online? I gto mine from Hayes, West London... they still have stock if you can get there to pick it up. Wasn't my closest store but not too far to save a few squid.

Yeah I looked into this before but there's hardly any difference plus the 705 can't be had for anywhere near £155. Actually on the 705 you have to pay for the Opera web browser to be able to surfOriginally posted by G8_Summit View PostIts probably out of stock because thats the old model.

It has 2 modes I think - a full screen mode which compacts the page into view, and then you zoom in on the areas you want to read. Or it has a full view which displays the page in full size and you scroll around using the touch screen.Originally posted by beaker View PostWhat's the internet browsing experience like? Yes it's bigger than some PMPs but I always carry a briefcase to work and plus it's a good size for the kids when we go on long car journeys.
