    emmm no.

The seats on new buses are wider than the old double deckers.
The seats width on new trains vary but they wider than the old slamming doors.

I'm sick of sitting next to fat people on planes with their soggy, sweaty armpits within close proximity of my nose.

So I told the wife in future she had to book her own seat.

It does seem that seats are getting smaller and more cramped on both planes and trains these days.

I think the airlines could justify charging by weight, but the way they treated this chap was disgraceful.
If they are going to charge by weight then they should have to provide extra large seats to fit the price.

Is that why you put your handbag on the seat next to you on the train?

If everyone was 20 stone then planes would only be able to carry half the number of passengers, seems reasonable to me.

I'd be interested to know what Michael O'Leary thinks.

This is only right. After all, by taking up an extra seat the passenger is depriving Air France of a chance to charge another person for that seat.
