    No-one in their right mind would take it, unless it's for the money. It is an impossible job.

    Mourinho? He doesn't need the money, and not having the squad under his control for 10 months of the year goes against his modus operandi. His reputation cannot be enhanced by it. I can't see why he would even consider it.

    I've got a mate who calculates risk for living, we all laughed when his spread of bets included £20 on Greece at 150/1 for Euro 2004 just because they had a German manager.

    He bought the drinks that night.
