Mad as a box of frogs, and right occasionally but only on the basis of probability.

I've got a mate who calculates risk for living, we all laughed when his spread of bets included £20 on Greece at 150/1 for Euro 2004 just because they had a German manager.

He bought the drinks that night.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

There's a chap at Man City who seems to be doing ok with limited talent.

No-one in their right mind would take it, unless it's for the money. It is an impossible job.

Mourinho? He doesn't need the money, and not having the squad under his control for 10 months of the year goes against his modus operandi. His reputation cannot be enhanced by it. I can't see why he would even consider it.

How many English players did he buy this year?
