Reminds me of the time my physics tutor turned up for a tutorial sporting a black eye. He told us he'd been cycling home a little drunk, and three townies had jumped him. He was the university kick-boxing champion. So, though he's a wee skinny chap, he beat the proverbial out of them.

Funnily enough we were very attentive in his lectures after that.
