Because Rhys Jones parents are from Merseyside and have an alibi ?

I don't blame them - as long as they stay in the headlines people will keep looking out for the girl. And they are doing well - still got their own page on Sky News, below "UK news" but above "world news". Mind you, so's "Diana" now.
in the bbc item mr Mcann said he thought it shouldn't be high profile and be shoved down everybodies throat anymore...

director of police has said publicly that the McCanns have never been viewed as suspects.
I'm not going to say what I think, but surely this is a flaw in the investigation? How can they have NEVER been viewed as suspects?

I thought that police never ruled anything out, particularly at the start of the investigation, so how can they have never suspected the parents?

Where's SallyAnne - we need her impartial views on a topic such as this one

(Also - where's Scotspine, just in case?)

    Muppets.

Wonder how much of this trust fund they are going to waste fighting this. I personally think that they did kill her or at the very least there is a lot more than meets the eye.

Maybe we will get a death bed confession from them.

They wont waste any money, think of it as an investment, when the court orders the papers to pay them compensation, they'll be rich
