I had an agent once pump me for current managers' contact details. Can't tell you that until we're looking at a definite prospect, I said, you're just fishing. He laughed and said Yeah, but I've got a job to do.Originally posted by Churchill View PostThe guy's trying to make a living. How do you think he's going to build his contacts?
Just what is your problem?
That was cool. I was OK with that.

I had one phone me today about an amazing opportunity (not very progessive of them) and she started drilling me for information about who have i worked for in the past, have I got any interviews lined up, who with, how did my last role go, who was my manager, after a while I got bored and put the phone down on the poor agent.
Oh dear lol

The dogs correct, what's your problem eh?
Don't you know today is National Be Nice to an Agent day?
I sent 15 managers contact details today. I've done my bit, why can't you?
Agents have expensive cars and fancy holidays to pay for. Don't be such a cruel b@stard.

In fact I have no problem with agents at all, most of them are nice people and easy to deal with. However, I do not like when "making a living" means lying and then mass-mailing that lie.Originally posted by Churchill View PostThe guy's trying to make a living.
