If there is a company that is prepared to hire me for a day then there is a good chance that they will have odd jobs that they need doing on a regular basis. Not only will that help me escape IR35 (multiple clients), but also shows that the client is likely to be flexible enough to consider ideas such as me providing them with staff (so profit margin for me) or allowing me to bring along trainees who I can also farm work out to.
Of course this is all highly speculative, and probably completely foolish, but you never become a millionaire by doing conventional.
BTW the Friday bit is because my current employer is giving me fridays off for free to look for another job. Supposedly.Last edited by KentPhilip; 10 July 2007, 23:22.

FFS, you could have had a wash, sobered up and put a suit on.
What a waster!
Priceless.

You cannot sit and wait by the phone as I can assure you that it will not ring .
target yourself to make 40 calls a day and keep each one brief and to the point. Set objectives for each call and every activity you do.
report back here in 4 weeks and let us know how you have got on.
There are recruitment agents on the web, such as
http://www.net-recruit.co.uk
but they charge what seems to be 1.5% of the salary (£500 flat fee).
I can't compete with that.
I'll let you know how I get on.
Cheers

I suppose I better put my suit on and get a proper photo done...
I don't know why those women had their faces covered. I presume I must have told a funny joke - NOT!
