Apparently there are some new office blocks near by that the council wants to give the LS1 postcode to aid regeneration.

Elland Road is Churlwell/Beeston. How the hell they can make that LS1 beats me. It's on the other side of the M621, miles from the City Center.

Fook, that is a tulipty area, Gipton is slighty worse but only just.

Every time I drive up Dewsbury road I thank whatever god there is that I don't have to live somewhere like that.

It's also where the London Bombers came from. But I'm not implying that everyone is a suicide bomber.

Even if they change the postcode to LS1 it's still the wrong side of the M621.

Beeston. Not the best area in the world but it's a lot better than it used to be. No way will this be reclassed as LS1. It's nowhere near the City Centre.

Yeah I know, I'm intrigued whereabouts in LS1 the house is as I thought it was all prison cells (although some have good views). Holbeck is an area close to the city centre.

Apparently the post code is going to change to the "desirable" LS1. There is £180,000 profit right there!

    started a topic Har Har.....

    Har Har.....

Went to a mates house warming yesterday. Got speaking to his misses who was raving about how much the house was going to go up by.

Bought for £120,000 she think it will be worth £300,000 inside 5 years So by my calcs growth would have to more than double from the higest growth rates we've seen in the last 2 decades to achieve this (or £100 a day)! Truely buy now while they are cheap....

Anyone else thinks this sums up the property market or peoples perspectives of it.

Don't get me wrong its fantastic hes on the ladder but for feck sake get real about the growth potential.
Working...
