Leave it out the front of the house and see if some chav walks off with it. Never fails here.

Try a few local charities instead.
One close to me will pick up monitors and PC's for £25 and then salvage bits to make semi-decent machines for the third world. (CRT monitors are turned in to TV's apparently)

Freecycle was my first thought, but I had a look and there were loads of people offering them and nobody picking them up.
