I did hear from someone that flights from India arriving at LHR are fumigated and detoxed after the passengers get off. Something to do with the skin and pores oozing odours from native spicy food.
Probably not just limited to India either, but any country where the locals consume vast amounts of spicy foods, I guess.

That's not unusual. Often it is tracked back to alcohol poisoning. In Sweden they let them carry on with the trollies; generally it is the only thing keeping them upright.
