I just sold my Indian fund which I'd held for about 10 years, at one stage it had halved, but about 250-300% gain when I flogged it. They are cranking up interest rates in India at the moment to try and cool things down a bit, I reckon a good chance it'll have a big correction but what do I know. I've dabbled in lots of dodgy markets usually through invetsment trusts, I think I've done OK all in all but a few disasters along the way. I don't think now is a good time for throwing new money into emerging markets but !?!?!?!

    Closer to home..

I have been investing here for about 7 years. With CT at 12% and stacks of inward investment this one has gone like a bomb. Put me 2 years ahead of schedule on my retirement plans.

Also it seems to be nearer, less time zone difference and they bring
