There is an umlaut in the word which would indicate german prenounciation and not french.
Personally I wont drink anything other than veuve cliquot NV.

Since it's originally Dutch, my votes goes with the second option. Still, if I was in back in the UK I'd probably use the first (try asking for a 'Tin Tin' comic, or pint of 'Hoegaarden' if you pronounce them correctly and see what happens).
In any case Moët wouldn't be a recommendation however you say it. My choice of methode-champenoise at the moment (sorry no Cristal):
Kreglinger 1999
Nicolas Feuillatte "Cuvée Palme d'Or" 1997

Ah those were the brilliant toxic bachelor days of the late 90s.

If it's NV bubbly, I'd rather have a nice carva.
Dom 90 was nice, so was 95.
Mainly cheap Bollinger '97 or '99 La Grande Annee these days. Times are hard.
You can shove Moet.

Louis Roederer Cristal for me please
If there were a few grams of the magic white powder on the table as well that would be nice (or so my "friends" tell me )

since when do we keep on topic?
She keeps Moet et Chandon
In her pretty cabinet
'Let them eat cake' she says
Just like Marie Antoinette
A built-in remedy
For Khrushchev and Kennedy
At anytime an invitation
You can't decline
Caviar and cigarettes
Well versed in etiquette
Extraordinarily nice
Chorus
She's a Killer Queen
Gunpowder, gelatine
Dynamite with a laser beam
Guaranteed to blow your mind
Anytime
Recommended at the price
Insatiable an appetite
Wanna try?
To avoid complications
She never kept the same address
In conversation
She spoke just like a baroness
Met a man from China
Went down to Geisha Minah
Then again incidentally
If you're that way inclined
Perfume came naturally from Paris
For cars she couldn't care less
Fastidious and precise
Chorus
Drop of a hat she's as willing as
Playful as a pussy cat
Then momentarily out of action
Temporarily out of gas
To absolutely drive you wild, wild
She's all out to get you
Chorus
Recommended at the price
Insatiable an appetite
Wanna try?
You wanna try

I say Tesco champagne beat Moet et al in a blind taste test recently (tesco champagne is £14 a bottle)

Moët (mō-way) when just this word is required
Moët (mo-wett) with "et Chandon"
But, hey, I have been known to be wrong.
