    Mr Osborne said they had made a "commitment to recognise marriage", and were looking at how best to do that - possibly through a transferable tax allowance.

    Of course I'd like to see NL out of office ASAP. I am now pessimistic that the damage they have done in the last 10 years (not just economic damage) will be undone in my lifetime, or ever for that matter.
    It is time for those who want to be the next Government to start explaining what plans they have to reverse the decline, not how they will continue p1ssing away the (presumably not reduced) tax take.
