Voted for fleetyteach_a myself, but I would still like to see a Best Of forum.

Perhaps the mods are concerned it would be too difficult to decide what goes in there? That aside, there are many here who have frequented the board for many years, and it would be good to have a way to stop the classic threads drifting away.

I think the Fleety_A capture's his anger at incorrect spelling and perfection would be to have the Fleety_A with the word spelling spelt wrong, this would capture fleetwood

Milan, I disagree with your 'anger' comment, I don't recall Fleetwood ever coming across as angry or bad tempered when correcting spelling, more exasperated, often with a put-down, but good natured nevertheless.

Maybe to that end, the ideal would be a "" face with stick and placard (spelt wrong, of course).

we're missing the point a bit here

Fleet was not a teacher and his humour, and interests was not at all teacherlike

he simply had a distaste for bad spelling

I am worried that associating him with teacher will leave the wrong picture memory of him
