I agree Xog. All this management bollox gets in the way of serious work.

In my younger days, I was asked to present a SWOT analysis of the IT department.

Having had this sprung upon me with 30 mins to prepare, I decided to wing it at the middle managers meeting.

Strengths

Bob the Junior Engineer was the UK Clan Champion for Counter Strike in xxxx, and his miss/hit ratio was 98.75%. He coined the term "Boom ! Headshot!"

Andy the other Junior Engineer was an avid runner and attended gym quite regularly.

Weaknesses

Chocloate, Beer, Women and Bob's pale complexion due to spending too much time indoors.

Opportunities

The department regularly looked on Jobserve for more interesting, better paid jobs. Also, Michelle in Accounts was a good bet.

Threats

Bob once threatened to bring in one of his guns from his vast home collection and shoot a cr@ppy HP Server.

Ah, such happy days of bliss and ignorance. I can still see the look on their faces, even to this day.
