No. Putin already has troops in the breakaway part of Moldova, he just needs to say "go". For all his evils, former Ceaușescu of Romania did not trust Russia and he build strategic roads through the mountains to move troops quickly in case of invasion.

Think he's going to be busy in Ukraine a while and then need a rest after.

Where will Putin go next?
According to the Belarusian leader it's Moldova..

Belarus’s leader could have inadvertently given away Vladimir Putin’s next move – with fears Russia may have plans to invade Moldova next.
Alexander Lukashenko stood in front of what appeared to be a battle plan at a meeting of his country’s security council.
It showed a map of Ukraine divided into four with several Russian lines of attacks that have already emerged – including troops storming towards Kyiv from the north, and towards Kherson from Crimea.
But there is speculation it also unveiled a number of onslaughts that are yet to become a reality.
Belarusian journalists said it seemed to point from the port city of Odessa into Moldova, implying the Kremlin may want to send soldiers there.
Mr Lukashenko yesterday denied Belarusian troops had entered north of Kyiv, adding: ‘We are not going to take part in this special operation in the future.’
But Belarusian military chiefs are among those to be targeted as part of the UK’s first tranche of sanctions against Minsk for ‘actively aiding and abetting Russia’s illegal invasion’.
The new video was published by a Belarusian pro-state Telegram channel.
There is no confirmation the map does represent Putin’s plan – but world leaders have previously warned the president may not stop at Ukraine and has dreams of piecing back together the Soviet Union.
